The Manaaki Ora app is designed to provide guidance and tips on how to self-help or support others who might be going through hard times or distress. Individuals and whānau can find creative, simple, and innovative activities to build wellbeing and resilience. This includes helping whānau identify their feelings and when they feel overwhelmed, where to get support and tips on how to support others.
Te Rau Ora released the Manaaki Ora Wellbeing App in August 2021 in response to the heightened anxiety and isolation of lockdowns through COVID-19. Manaaki Ora received immediate interest in both New Zealand and Australia. The app is available for free download through google play and the apple app store.
